HORRIBLE !! US Air Force to Replace F 15C Squadron at Japan's Kadena Base

US Air Force to Replace F-15C Squadron at Japan's Kadena Base.
Friday. 28-10-2022.

The US Air Force plans to replace the two squadrons of F-15C Eagle fighter aircraft that have been stationed at Kadena Air Base in Japan with rotational force fighters.
A source familiar with the situation, who asked not to be named because the Pentagon has not yet announced plans, said rotational force would at least be a short-term solution to replace F-15Cs stationed at Okinawa bases.
Kadena now has at least 48 F-15Cs as part of the 44th and 67th fighter squadrons of the 18th Wing.
The source said the US Department of Defense has not yet decided on long-term plans for Kadena's combat force, and whether the base will keep a rotating squadron of fighters through temporary deployments or whether other combat units will be deployed permanently.
It will also take some time for Kadena's F-15Cs to return to the United States, the source said. The Air Force usually flies the plane back in waves in this situation, and temporarily reloads it with rotational force.

The Financial Times first reported on the US Air Force's plans to move to a rotational fighter deployment system at Kadena.
The US Air Force is moving to retire most of its aging F-15C fleet, many of which are 40 years old and reaching the end of their service, and replace them with newly built F-15EX fighters.
The US Congress gave the Air Force permission to retire 48 F-15C and D fighters, the full request of the service, as part of the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act. The Air Force also wants to cut another 61 F-15Cs by 2023. This will reducing the F-15C fleet to 107, roughly half its 2021 size.
Kadena's 18th Wing also has E-3 Sentries early warning aircraft, KC-135 Stratotankers, and HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters.

Menhan AS Lloyd Austin Bertemu Prabowo, Janji Bantu Modernisasi Militer Indonesia.

Jum'at, 21-10-2022.

Menteri Pertahanan RI Prabowo Subianto bertemu rekannya Menhan Lloyd Austin di Amerika Serikat, Kamis (20-10-2022). Austin berjanji AS akan membantu modernisasi militer Indonesia.
