New silliness President Zelensky, Refused to admit, and said it was Russ...

Zelensky refuses to admit, says Russian missile hit Poland
Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insisted that the fatal explosion that killed two people in Poland near his country's border was caused by a Russian missile. Previously, several world leaders and NATO stated that the missile may have come from Ukraine.
"I have no doubt that it is not our missile," he said as quoted by the Daily Mail, Thursday (17/11/2022).
Zelensky believes that Tuesday's explosion was caused by a Russian missile. He based his conclusions on reports from his military that could not be trusted.
Zelensky also said he believed that Ukraine should have been given access to the blast site to engage in a debris analysis to determine the suspected missile's origin.
"Do we have the right to be on the investigative team? Of course," he said.
Zelensky also stressed that Kiev had not accepted an offer from Moscow to start peace talks despite fears of an escalation of war following the incident.
Earlier in the hours after the incident, Zelensky blamed Russian missile terror and Kiev had not acknowledged its own missile involvement.

Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, said Kyiv wanted access to the site and was still seeing Russian "traces" behind the attack.
But a number of world leaders and the Polish president said it was possible the missile was launched by Ukrainian air defenses. This statement at the same time allayed fears that the attack could drag NATO into direct conflict with Russia, giving Vladimir Putin an excuse to attack the West.
Polish President Andrzej Duda said he had seen "no evidence" the missile was fired by Russia and that it was "very likely" the Soviet-era S-300 rocket came from Ukraine.
"There is no indication that Poland was deliberately targeted," he added.
"Ukrainian defenses launched their missiles in various directions and most likely one of these missiles fell on Polish territory," according to Duda, who added that Russia bore the main responsibility for the attack because Putin started the war in Ukraine.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the same thing, saying the attack was likely a Ukrainian missile, there was no indication it was intentional and there was no indication Russia was preparing an attack on NATO.
"This is not Ukraine's fault. Russia bears the main responsibility for continuing its illegal war against Ukraine," he added.
