by Rajes Saragih.

The F135 Engine Core (ECU) upgrade for the F-35 Lightning II wins $75 million more in funding in the fiscal 2023 omnibus appropriation bill, further confirming congressional support for engine modernization, according to the Pratt & Whitney website on December 23, 2022. Jen Latka , vice president of the F135 program at Pratt & Whitney, stated, “If our services and allies want an F-35 with Block 4 capabilities by the end of the decade, the engine needs a fundamental overhaul. “Thanks to the help we have from Congress and Chairman DeLauro's leadership, the enhanced machine will be field-ready by 2028,”

The ECU from Pratt & Whitney is a single solution for upgrading the F-35 propulsion compatible with all F-35 models. This will deliver $40 billion in life cycle cost savings by avoiding disruptive and costly air vehicle upgrades and by leveraging existing sustainability infrastructure. “ Since production began, Pratt & Whitney has reduced the price of the F135 engine by fifty percent, and over the years, the engine has exceeded its original performance standards by twofold.

The first steel cutting of the Red and White Frigate has been carried out by PT PAL.
December 10, 2022 / by Author Rangga Baswara Sawiyya.

At the Indo Defense exhibition in November 2022, PT PAL CEO Kaharuddin Djenod said that the national shipyard he leads is preparing to work on the first frigate ordered by the Indonesian Navy.
The first steel cutting will be carried out in November 2022, for the construction of the ship, which is named Frigate Merah Putih, Janes wrote.
But until the end of November, this activity had not been carried out.
On December 9, 2022, photos appeared of the first steel cutting ceremony held at the PT PAL Surabaya facility.

As is well known, British defense group Babcock announced in September 2021 that it had signed a license agreement to provide the Arrowhead 140 design (also known as the Type 31 frigate) to PT PAL.
In his statement, Babcock said that this license made it possible for PT PAL to build two Arrowhead 140 warships in Indonesia with special design modifications for the Indonesian Navy.
However, several important components on the Red and White Frigates will still be imported from the British Babcock.
As for specifications, the Red and White Frigate will be 138.7 m long, 19.8 m wide, displace 5,700 tons, and have a crew of 100.
It was stated, PT PAL would work on the construction of the ship for a period of 69 months, meaning it would be delivered in 2026-2027.

Just Cut Production, Says Putin In Response To G7 Limiting Russian Oil P...

Just Cut Production, Says Putin In Response To G7 Limiting Russian Oil Prices
December 8, 2022.

Russian President Vladimir Putin finally spoke after the G7, European Union and Australia agreed to limit the price of Russian seaborne oil.
Last week, the G7, the European Union and Australia capped the price of Russian seaborne oil at $60 per barrel.
The limit on Russian oil prices was taken to suppress Moscow's revenue so that its war machine in Ukraine would stop.
On Friday (9/12/2022), Putin said that Russia only needs to cut its oil production and not sell it to any country that imposes price limits.
"Regarding our reaction, I have already said that we will not sell to countries that make such decisions," Putin told reporters at a news conference in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.
"We will think, perhaps, even about the possibility, if necessary, of reducing production," Putin continued.

Currently, Russia is the world's second largest oil exporter after Saudi Arabia. Moscow is also the largest gas exporter.
Putin said that Russia has production agreements with other members of the OPEC+ group of oil producers, so such a drastic step is still possible.
“We are thinking about this, there is no solution yet. And concrete steps will be set forth in a presidential decree which will be released in the next few days," Putin said.
Selling oil and gas to Europe has become one of Russia's main sources of income.
Putin has dismissed Western efforts to squeeze Russian finances, saying a price cap of $60 corresponds to what Russian oil is selling for.
The price of Russian Ural crude on Friday was around $53 a barrel, according to Reuters data.
Putin warned that Western attempts to limit prices would only lead to the collapse of the global oil industry and then catastrophic price increases.
“This will lead to the collapse of the industry itself, as consumers will always insist that prices are lower. The industry is already short of investment, short of funds, and if we only listen to consumers, then this investment will be zero," said Putin.
“All this will at some stage lead to catastrophic price spikes and the collapse of the global energy sector. This is a stupid, misunderstood and badly thought out proposal," Putin continued.

European Union Suspects Iranian Satellite Launcher Could Be Intermediate-Range Nuclear Missile
December 9, 2022.

Iran Metropolis Agency
Iran has reportedly introduced the launch of the Ghaem-100 satellite which the European Union suspects could be used to carry nuclear warheads.

The Ghaem-100 satellite launch vehicle (SLV) that Iran launched on November 5 can be used as an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM), the British, French and German governments said in a joint letter to the UN Security Council.

"Modeling and simulations of the elements that make up the Ghaem-100 show that, if converted into the ballistic missile role and equipped with a 500 kg warhead, it will provide Iran with a fast route to medium-range ballistic missiles," they said. the letter, which was released on November 29.

It didn't provide specific figures, but IRBMs are generally classified as having a range of between 3,000 and 5,500 km, meaning based on the Ghaem-100 it would be able to reach Berlin and possibly cover all of Europe.

The letter noted that the Ghaem-100 was launched by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), which includes Iran's strategic missile forces, uses mobile launchers, and demonstrates “extensive technological cross-over with the development of long-range ballistic missiles.

Xi Jinping's Arrival to Saudi Arabia Is A Huge Blow To Destroy US Hegemony

Xi Jinping's Arrival to Saudi Arabia Is A Huge Blow To Destroy US Hegemony
December 8, 2022.

ISLAMTODAY ID- Chinese President Xi Jinping traveled to Saudi Arabia for three days since December 7 at the invitation of Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The visit comes against a backdrop of continuing tensions between Beijing and Riyadh and Washington on the other.
The following is an estimate of the results of the visit, as reported by Sputniknews, Wednesday (7/12/2022).
  Great Host Deals?
Saudi news outlets reported hopes of signing a series of agreements worth more than $29 billion during Xi Jinping's visit to Riyadh.
The agreements include those related to energy and infrastructure.
According to the outlet, in addition to more than 20 preliminary agreements that will be signed on the sidelines of the Sino-Saudi summit.

In addition, it is hoped that Beijing and Riyadh will also be able to sign a document on strategic partnerships, as well as agree on a "harmonization" plan between the two countries' long-term programs, including the Saudi "Vision-2030" program and China's "One Belt - One Road" initiative.
The summit between the Chinese president and the Saudi King will also be attended by Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
As for Xi's travel agenda to Saudi Arabia, it also includes the Arab-China summit on cooperation and development, as well as the Arab-China meeting with the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) consisting of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Arabic (UAE).
'Double Impact' in the US
Some experts believe that the visit of the Chinese president to Saudi Arabia can be considered a double blow for the US, which is trying to dictate its terms to the global energy market.
Experts are of the opinion that the visit is touted as a significant event that transcends the current oil price situation.

This is because Xi will meet not only Saudi Arabian leaders, but also senior officials from Persian Gulf countries – at the meeting where “new relations between China and the Arab world” as well as Beijing and the international oil and gas community will be discussed.
According to some analysts, the fact of this encounter is “epoch-making and revolutionary” – a sign they believe indicates that a new world order is becoming more real.
Experts add that Washington has long tried to prevent Xi from visiting Riyadh, but without success.
According to them, the fact that the visit will take place reflects China's growing international influence.
Washington Vs Beijing tensions, Riyadh
Xi is traveling to Saudi Arabia as Washington's tensions with Riyadh and Beijing show no sign of letting up.
In October, US President Joe Biden warned that there would be "consequences" for Saudi Arabia for its move to cut oil production earlier that month, but declined to elaborate on what steps he might take.
In early October, the OPEC+ group of oil producers, which includes Saudi Arabia and Russia, announced that it had agreed to cut oil production by two million bpd from November and would take the agreed production levels for August as a reference point.
The move was made in response to the uncertain outlook for global oil markets, caused in part by Western sanctions on Russian energy shipments and a G7 plan to introduce price caps on Russian crude.
Saudi Arabia's foreign ministry rejected claims that the oil cuts were "politically motivated against the United States" or that the Saudis were "taking sides" in the Ukraine conflict.
The Saudis stressed that the decision was made unanimously by OPEC+ members and that the move was "based purely on economic considerations."
For your information, US-China relations deteriorated after the then Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, visited Taiwan in early August.
Beijing denounced Pelosi's trip as a gesture of support for separatism, launching large-scale military exercises around Taiwan.
However, several countries, including France, the United States, Japan and others, have sent their delegations to the island since then, further increasing tensions in the Taiwan Strait.
Although the US does not enjoy formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan, Washington has a representative office in Taipei, remaining the island's largest supplier of military hardware.
Beijing regards the island as an integral part of the PRC, adhering to a policy of peaceful reunification under the “One China – Two Systems” model.

China's Dongfeng-17 Missile Was Designed To Attack US Military Bases In ...

China's Dongfeng-17 Missile Was Designed To Attack US Military Bases In The Pacific
12 December 2022.

While China has showcased its DF-17 hypersonic missile with a mobile platform, the Pentagon has alleged that the missile already has the capability to carry a nuclear warhead.

The Dong Feng-17 (DF-17) using hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) technology powered by China's medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) has been designed to attack foreign military bases and fleets in the Western Pacific, according to a US Pentagon report.

In its 2022 China Military Strength Report (CMPR), the US Department of Defense (DoD) said that the DF-17 transforms the missile power of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). "The system, which was fielded in 2020, is likely intended to replace some older short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) units," DoD added, citing Chinese media.

“The DF-17 successfully passed several tests and was operationally deployed. While the DF-17 is primarily a conventional platform, it may be equipped with a nuclear warhead," the Pentagon said. Citing the claims of a Chinese military expert, the Pentagon added that the "main objective of the DF-17" is to attack bases and fleets in the Western Pacific.  source: militermeter.com

China is crazy. Production of the J 20 Mighty Dragon is boosted to 1,000...

China Production of the J-20 Mighty Dragon is boosted to 1000 units.
Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

China has accelerated production of its Mighty Dragon, J-20 stealth fighter jet at the country's leading manufacturing facility to match US air power technology in the region.
The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is using a "world-class" production line to speed up deliveries of its advanced fighter jets, a Chinese military insider and defense expert, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on Sunday.
"The J-20 production increase is aimed at balancing the increased deployment of the United States' dominant air superiority aircraft, the F-22, and another fifth-generation stealth fighter, the F-35, to the region," a military insider said.
"The implementation of new production lines and domestic engines has pushed the number of J-20s to equal, or even exceed, the number of US F-22 Raptors."

Based on the serial and operational numbers written on the planes on display at this month's airshow in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, previous estimates suggest that China may have built at least 200 J-20s.
Serial numbers written on two of the four J-20s on display at the air show reveal that the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group, the aircraft's developer, has delivered at least 140 units in its newest blocks, the third and fourth, US Defense News previously claimed. this month, citing military aviation expert Andreas Rupprecht.
The deployment of more than 100 US F-35s to Japan and South Korea in 2017 is claimed to have led to the induction of the J-20 in the PLA.

An aircraft can be put together using a production line once it reaches the final assembly stage, which requires the accurate assembly of large structural components and flight control systems, including the cockpit, engines, wings, tail, landing gear, and weapons. system.
According to Lockheed Martin, the fact that the standard electronic pairing and alignment system stations are all arranged vertically with a movable platform makes completion possible.

AMERICAS WORRY ABOUT CHINESE NUCLEAR BALLISTIC MISSILES PROGRAM TO MANUF...

China Will Upgrade Its Nuclear Warheads To 1500.
Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

China is expanding its nuclear force and is on track to nearly quadruple the number of warheads it has by 2035, rapidly closing its gap with the United States (US). That was the sound of the Pentagon report released Tuesday local time.
In its report, the Pentagon said China's nuclear arsenal was set to more than triple to 1,500 nuclear warheads. The report also highlighted the increasing sophistication of the country's air force.
Washington has identified Beijing as its most important challenge to the US, and its annual report on China's military emphasizes increasing its nuclear and conventional forces.
"The Department of Defense estimates (China's) operational nuclear warhead stockpile has exceeded 400," the report said.

"If China continues its pace of nuclear expansion, it will likely have a stockpile of around 1,500 warheads by 2035," the report continued.
But that figure still lags behind the arsenals of the US and Russia, which each have several thousand nuclear warheads.
China is also working to modernize its ballistic missiles that can deliver nuclear weapons, launching some 135 in tests during 2021. According to the report, the number exceeds the number of similar tests from around the world combined but excluding those fired in conflicts.
"And Beijing's air force is making strides, quickly catching up with Western air forces," the report said.
A senior US defense official, speaking before the report's release, said China's air force was trying to advance quickly on all fronts, including on operated equipment as well as pilots and other personnel.
The report also takes aim at the way China is using its military in the Indo-Pacific region, saying that China has adopted more coercive and aggressive actions.
That is especially the case around Taiwan, the self-governing democratic island that Beijing claims as its own.

A visit by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in August angered China, which reacted with the largest and most aggressive drills around the island since the 1990s.
Both sides have agreed to lower the temperature. But a senior US defense official said while Chinese military activity around Taiwan has decreased, it is still higher than before.
"Beijing established a kind of new normal in terms of the level of military activity around Taiwan following the speaker's visit," the official said.
"While we do not see an imminent invasion, clearly, the higher level of intimidation and coercion activity around Taiwan is a source of concern," the official added.

The Atmaca Anti Ship Missile Turkey Will Be Installed on the Indonesian ...

The Atmaca Anti-Ship Missile Turkey Will Be Installed on the Indonesian Navy's OPV 90.
12/11/2022.

The Atmaca anti-ship missile made by Roketsan, Turkey, has also been named in the Indo Defense 2022 event. Apart from being previously reported to have been eyed by the Indonesian Navy, a press release from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense has also indicated the potential for cooperation in the acquisition of Atmaca missiles. But it should be noted, this is only a potential and has not yet been outlined in the form of an defense equipment procurement contract. As a multi-platform anti-ship missile, Atmaca has characteristics like the Harpoon and Exocet, which are prepared in variants that can be launched from surface warships, air vehicles and land-based platforms. Then it becomes a question for netizens, if Atmaca is later acquired by the Indonesian Navy, where will this anti-ship missile be placed?

Returning to the press release of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense during Indo Defense 2022, it was stated that the Atmaca missile will become an arsenal for OPV (Offshore Patrol Vessel) type ships, including OPV 90. The Atmaca missile will later complement the weapons in the Indonesian Navy's OPV in the Fit for But Not scheme. With (FFBNW). Referring to Havelsan's statement, which is also a defense vendor for Turkey, then there is a match, where Havelsan will supply the Advent CMS (Combat Management System) to the two OPVs ordered by the Indonesian Navy which are currently under construction. Which means, there is compatibility between the use of the Advent CMS made in Turkey and the Atmaca anti-ship missile which is also made in Turkey.

Atmaca, which means Eagle, is an anti-ship missile developed within the scope of the MILGEM project, namely Turkey's national warship development program (Ada Class corvette). Tracing its lineage, Roketsan was officially awarded the first phase research and development contract in 2009, and it was only in 2012 that the Atmaca development project was fully accelerated under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
Atmaca is called an anti-ship missile that shoots at a subsonic speed level of Mach 0.85 and flies at sea skimming altitude. Supported by the microturbo engine Safran TR40, Atmaca has a range of up to 200 km. The weight of this missile reaches 800 kg, including a 250 kg high-explosive penetrating warhead.

Atmaca has a length of 5.2 meters, a diameter of 350 mm and a wingspan of 1.4 meters. What about the guiding system? This missile alert of the Ottoman State relies on a combination of an inertial navigation system, GPS (Global Positioning System), barometric altimeter/radar altimeter with terminal guidance via an active radio frequency (RF) seeker. At Indo Defense 2022, Roketsan brought a full mockup of this missile. Unlike the variants launched from warships, the land-based variant of the Atmaca missile is equipped with an infrared guidance system.

As for the warships, our source within the internal TNI AL said, there are two options in the development of OPV, namely between 'larging' the patrol boat or reducing the weapons capabilities of a corvette or frigate. If you look at the 90-meter OPV design from PT Daya Radar Utama (DRU), what is shown is likely to be the 'highest' arsenal set-up if the OPV is to be operated by the Indonesian Navy.
From the design in the drawings, PT DRU's 90-meter OPV is equipped with a 35 mm caliber Rheinmetall Millennium Gun fast reaction cannon mounted on the hangar. Then on the middle deck, there are 2×4 anti-ship missile launchers and in the bow you can see the OTO Melara 76 mm Super Rapid Gun cannon. (Glang Prime)

According to information released by the Turkish Defense Ministry, the Russian-made S-400 air defense missile system that Türkiye purchased from Russia is ready for action and will be used if the country is threatened, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said.
It was reported by the A-Haber television channel that Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced that the Russian-made S-400 air defense missile system is fully operational in the Turkish armed forces and is ready for use.
Turkey has purchased four S-400 air defense units from Russia for $2.5 billion. The arms export agency Rosoboronexport said in October 2019 that the contract had been fulfilled.
Russia and Turkey signed a contract for the delivery of the S-400 air defense system in 2017. Turkey became the first NATO member to purchase this system (S-400) from Russia. Ankara's decision provoked a strong reaction from the US and the alliance in general. The US continues its efforts to force Turkey to reject the Russian system.

The S-400 is a mobile air defense missile system developed by the Russian company Almaz Central Design Bureau. It is designed to attack aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The S-400 battery includes a command-and-control system, one surveillance radar, one engagement radar, and four TELs (Transporter Erector Launcher).
The S-400 can launch four different types of missiles including the short-range 9M96E (40km), medium-range 9M96E2 (120km), long-range 48N6 (250km), and very long-range 40N6E (400km).

RISHI SUNAK SAYS 125 UNITS OF ANTI AIRPLANE WEAPONS WILL BE DELIVERED TO KIEV UKRAINE

UK PM Rishi Sunak Pledges 125 Anti-aircraft Guns While Visiting Keiv.
Sunday, November 20, 2022.

British Prime Minister (PM) Rishi Sunak made an impromptu trip to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. He then pledged 125 anti-aircraft guns and other air defense technologies during talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The $60 million air defense package was awarded after Russia destroyed Ukraine's power grid and other key infrastructure from the air.
This caused widespread power outages for millions of Ukrainians as the frigid winter drew near. The package includes radar and other technology to counter Iranian-supplied drones that Russia has used to destroy Ukrainian targets.

The aid comes on top of a shipment of more than 1,000 anti-air missiles Britain announced earlier this month. Britain has been one of the most staunch supporters of the Ukrainian resistance to the Russian invasion. The country is noted to have given Kiev $2.7 billion (Rp42.3 trillion) in military aid.

New silliness President Zelensky, Refused to admit, and said it was Russ...

Zelensky refuses to admit, says Russian missile hit Poland
Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insisted that the fatal explosion that killed two people in Poland near his country's border was caused by a Russian missile. Previously, several world leaders and NATO stated that the missile may have come from Ukraine.
"I have no doubt that it is not our missile," he said as quoted by the Daily Mail, Thursday (17/11/2022).
Zelensky believes that Tuesday's explosion was caused by a Russian missile. He based his conclusions on reports from his military that could not be trusted.
Zelensky also said he believed that Ukraine should have been given access to the blast site to engage in a debris analysis to determine the suspected missile's origin.
"Do we have the right to be on the investigative team? Of course," he said.
Zelensky also stressed that Kiev had not accepted an offer from Moscow to start peace talks despite fears of an escalation of war following the incident.
Earlier in the hours after the incident, Zelensky blamed Russian missile terror and Kiev had not acknowledged its own missile involvement.

Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, said Kyiv wanted access to the site and was still seeing Russian "traces" behind the attack.
But a number of world leaders and the Polish president said it was possible the missile was launched by Ukrainian air defenses. This statement at the same time allayed fears that the attack could drag NATO into direct conflict with Russia, giving Vladimir Putin an excuse to attack the West.
Polish President Andrzej Duda said he had seen "no evidence" the missile was fired by Russia and that it was "very likely" the Soviet-era S-300 rocket came from Ukraine.
"There is no indication that Poland was deliberately targeted," he added.
"Ukrainian defenses launched their missiles in various directions and most likely one of these missiles fell on Polish territory," according to Duda, who added that Russia bore the main responsibility for the attack because Putin started the war in Ukraine.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the same thing, saying the attack was likely a Ukrainian missile, there was no indication it was intentional and there was no indication Russia was preparing an attack on NATO.
"This is not Ukraine's fault. Russia bears the main responsibility for continuing its illegal war against Ukraine," he added.

Ukraine Missiles Hit Poland, Zelensky Accused of Starting World War III

Ukraine Missiles Hit Poland, Zelensky Accused of Starting World War III.
Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Missiles fired by a Ukrainian air defense system hit Poland and killed two people, but Kiev accused Russia of being behind it.
Over the incident, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was accused of trying to start World War III.
"Ukraine tried to start World War III yesterday when a Ukrainian missile attacked a NATO country and killed innocent civilians. Ukraine's leaders lied and blamed Russia. [News agency] AP wrote it without hesitation," wrote conservative United States (US) commentator Benny Johnson on Twitter.
"Ukrainian leaders lied to try and start a full-blown World War III. These are the facts," he continued.
The tweet came shortly after reports that a "Russian-made" missile hit Polish territory near the Przewodow region. Following the report, Zelensky said that it was a very significant escalation amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
"This is a Russian missile attack on collective security! This is a very significant escalation. Action is needed," Zelensky said in a video after the report.
However, on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, several officials from the US, Poland and NATO denied that the missiles were launched by Russia as a deliberate attack on Poland, which is a member of NATO.

"There is initial information that disproves that. I don't want to say until we fully investigate," said US President Joe Biden. "No way, according to the trajectory, it was fired from Russia. But we'll see."
Polish President Andrzej Duda also commented on the attack, saying: "At the moment we have no evidence that it was a rocket launched by Russian troops."
“However, there are many indications that it was a missile used by the Ukrainian anti-missile defense,” Duda added, as quoted from NPR, Thursday (17/11/2022).
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also said that the missile was likely a stray attack from Ukraine's defense forces but added, "This is not Ukraine's fault. Russia bears primary responsibility for continuing its illegal war against Ukraine."
As well as Benny Johnson, several other high-profile commentators also criticized Ukraine's and Zelensky's initial comments following reports of the missile attack.
"Zelensky is one of the most dangerous psychopaths on the planet right now. He is determined to start another world war," conservative commentator Matt Walsh wrote on Twitter.
Renowned businessman Blair Brandt wrote on Twitter: "So now confirmed that Zelensky's military, perhaps accidentally, sent missiles to Poland and then tried to use them as an excuse for NATO to start World War III. This is not the act of a hero looking to save the world or de -escalation."
According to a Reuters report, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement denying that it fired missiles at Poland and said the reports were a deliberate provocation aimed at escalating the situation.

MEDIBANK LOSES AUSTRALIAN INTELLIGENCE DISCOVERS CYBER ATTACKS BY RUSSIA...

Australian Intelligence Finds Russian Hackers Performed Cyber, Attack on Medibank.
November 12, 2022.

Australia's foreign intelligence agency warned that supporting Ukraine could open the country to retaliation from Russian hackers. Police said Russian hackers had carried out a cyber attack on a major Australian healthcare company that breached the data of 9.7 million people, including the country's prime minister. Hackers began leaking the data this week after Medibank, the country's largest health insurer, refused to pay a $9.7 million ransom.
Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw blamed the attack on "cybercriminals" based in Russia.

“We believe those responsible for the violations are in Russia,” he told reporters on Friday, as reported by TRTWorld, Friday (11-11-2022). "Our intelligence points to a loosely affiliated group of cybercriminals likely responsible for significant past breaches around the world." Hackers have been feeding stolen data to dark web forums.

The first leak appears to have been chosen to cause maximum harm: targeting those receiving treatment for drug abuse, sexually transmitted infections, or termination of pregnancy.
Kershaw said the hackers also appeared to be supported by people living outside Russia. “These cybercriminals operate like a business with affiliates and associates supporting the business.

"We also believe that some affiliates may exist in other countries."
He added that Australian police would cooperate with Interpol and seek cooperation with their Russian counterparts. "We will be holding talks with Russian law enforcement about these people," he said. “Russia benefits from intelligence sharing and data shared through Interpol and with that comes responsibility and accountability.”

Threats of Retaliation
In April, Australia's overseas intelligence agency warned that supporting Ukraine could open the country to reprisals from Russian hackers. "Cybercrime groups allied with Russia have threatened to launch cyber operations in retaliation for perceived cyber attacks against the Russian government," the Australian Signals Directorate said in an advisory note.

"Several groups have also threatened to carry out cyber operations against countries and organizations providing material support to Ukraine." Kershaw said police knew the identities of the hackers but he would not name them. Cybersecurity analysts have suggested they could be linked to the Russian hacker group REvil. REvil – a mix of ransomware and crime – was reportedly busted by Russian authorities earlier this year, after extracting an $11 million ransom from JBS Foods, a major food conglomerate.

PATHETIC! Alert! Putin's Troops Withdraw From Ukraine's Kherson City, Ru...

Alerts! Putin Retreats on the Ukrainian Front, Russia Loses Again?
CNBC Indonesia News.
November 10, 2022.

Russia ordered its input to withdraw in the war frontline city in Ukraine, Kherson, Wednesday local time. This is a new surprise by Russian President Vladimir Putin's army. The announcement of the troop withdrawal was made in person by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a televised meeting with the Russian commander in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin. Russian troops, however, will defend themselves on the banks of the Dnipro River. "Start withdrawing troops," stressed Shoigu, quoted by AFP, Thursday (11/10/2022). The city of Kherson was actually the first city center captured by the Russians during the invasion. The city has become the only regional capital of Ukraine controlled by Moscow forces since the offensive began on February 24. But aggressive attacks by Ukrainian forces over the past weeks have seized villages in the Black Sea town. This Ukrainian siege is likely to make the Kremlin withdraw.

"They are just looking for a way out of a difficult situation," Natalia Gumeniuk, a spokeswoman for Ukraine's southern army command, said on the same website. "The fact that they deliberately announced that they were moving to the left bank doesn't surprise anyone. But we understand that we still have to fight," he added. Previously, Russia also carried out a massive evacuation of residents in the region. Martial law status was also announced by Putin. However, in a recent statement, Presidential Adviser to Ukraine Mykhaylo Podolyak said some Russian troops remained in the town. Kyiv itself is suspicious of Moscow's move. "We see no signs that the Russians are leaving Kherson without a fight," he said on Twitter. "Ukraine liberated territory based on intelligence data, not staged TV statements," he said again. Kherson is one of four Ukrainian regions that Russia declared it annexed in September. This was shortly after the pro-Russia-made referendum took place.
The announcement of the troop withdrawal in Kherson came shortly after the regional head appointed by Moscow, Kirill Stremousov, was pronounced dead in a car crash. There are at least 115,000 Russian troops stationed in the region.

Indonesian Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo Wants to Add...

Indonesian Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo Wants to Add UAVs.
09/11/2022.

Air Force Chief of Staff (Kasau) Air Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo wants the addition of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to maintain Indonesia's air defenses.
"That's right. For the UAV itself, we want additions, both from foreign products and domestic products. We continue to encourage domestic products to also become our strength," said Kasau on the sidelines of the National Seminar on "The Challenges of the Air Force in Development Aviation Electronics Technology" at Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta.
According to him, for the 51 UAV Air Squadron at Supadio Air Base, Pontianak, there have been developments in several places. However, Fadjar could not explain openly. "Sorry, I can't say it's too open. Because the UAV is one of the sensitive defense equipment, whose activities need confidentiality," said Fadjar. However, in the planning there is already a "mobile" development.
"This is ready to be moved anywhere, apart from something that is fixed (in one place)," he said.
Meanwhile, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto said that the Indonesian Air Force must build Indonesia's air defense force based on the power of drones that have the ability to attack opponents.

"We must deploy now the technological tactics and capabilities of a large group of drones, Kamikaze drones and autonomous systems, robotic systems in the air and at sea and on land," Prabowo said.
In fact, Prabowo imagines that in the future the power of drones or UAVs owned by the Indonesian Air Force can become the main defense for Indonesian aerospace.
"Later it's like there is a fighter plane, say our F-15, say our Rafale, but around our Rafale or around our F15 there may be 15 drones. So one pilot is escorted by 15 drones, all of which have anti-aircraft missiles," he said.

"So one squadron will become 10 squadrons, or 15 squadrons at a price that is not as big as 15 squadrons. So this will also increase our capabilities quickly," Prabowo added.
The conflict between Ukraine and Russia is an event that must be learned from for the defense forces of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Ukraine, said Prabowo, has succeeded in giving lessons to the whole world that the power of unmanned aircraft (UAV) that has the ability to carry deadly missiles can carry out attacks on Russian defense points. source : antarnews.com

Indonesian state-owned shipbuilder PT PAL has unveiled a locally designed autonomous submarine concept at the Indo Defense 2022 exhibition. Speaking to writers at the exhibition, PT PAL described the concept as a testament to the latest capabilities of shipbuilder PT PAL and said it had been conceived with support from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan).

This concept is known as the Autonomous Submarine (KSOT) and has an overall length of about 25 m, a diameter of about 4 m, and a displacement in water of about 262 tons. According to PT PAL President Director Kaharuddin Djenod, PT PAL has designed the KSOT in such a way that it can be assembled at its facility in Surabaya within 12 months. It will be able to carry out light combat operations with decisions aided by the onboard artificial intelligence system, he said, adding that the KSOT is more than just an “underwater drone” as it will be equipped with lethal effectors in addition to sensors and monitoring equipment. HELL FOR UKRAINE! These are the victims of Russia's ZALA LANCET Kamikaze...

These are the victims of Russia's ZALA Lancet "Kamikaze" Drone Malignancy.
Wednesday, 9-11-2022.

In this video clip, you can see what is currently a nightmare for Ukrainian soldiers (and civilians) on the battlefield. This demonstrates the use of the Russian-made ZALA Lancet-3 type "kamikaze" drone or officially known as "loitering munition" type Lancet-3.

The Lancet-3 is a loitering munition that is relatively small in size compared to the Iranian-made Shahed-136 which is also active in the war in Ukraine. The Lancet-3 is equipped with a ±3 kilogram HE/HE-Frag (High-Explosive, Fragmentation) warhead or warhead. The total weight of the Lancet-3 drone itself is ±12 kilograms, it is also equipped with an electrically-driven push engine that gives a maximum output speed of ±80-110 km/hour. The drone's operational range is ±40 kilometers and the Lancet-3 can be operated for ±40 minutes. Impressive, quite sufficient and can be used to attack infantry elements, civilian infrastructure, military facilities, and various defense equipment such as 2 Ukrainian S-300 SAM launchers that are carelessly parked side by side and in the open. The price is definitely "cheap".

What the admin knows is that Ukraine also has difficulty shooting down this kamikaze drone with MANPADS, which are looking for heat-signature or heat from the engine, yup, even though the speed of this kamikaze drone is only less than 200 km/hour. In this case we can see the potential of gun-based CIWS, then there are various SPAAGs such as Biho, Gepard, Tunguska or even the old Shilka. Using airburst ammunition, proximity-fuze that has been integrated with modern fire control systems, Shahed-136 and Lancet-3. The Ukrainian S-300 being destroyed by a kamikaze drone was a "fatal blow" for the Ukrainian side. Destroying two super-expensive weapon systems with a relatively inexpensive kamikaze drone, welcome to the modern battlefield.

BECAUSE OF OIL!! US begins to discuss penalties for Saudi Arabia, includ...

US begins to discuss penalties for Saudi Arabia, including cuts in military aid.
Monday, October 31, 2022.

WASHINGTON - The United States (US) has begun discussing its plans to punish Saudi Arabia for the OPEC+ decision to cut oil production from November. The planned punishment includes cutting military aid to the kingdom.
A US official revealed this to the NBC news network. According to the official, Washington's move could include freezing deliveries of Patriot missiles to Saudi Arabia.
The $3 billion deal, under which Riyadh will receive 300 Patriot MIM-104E Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical Ballistic Missiles (GEM-T), was approved by Washington in August.
The deal is seen as important to Saudi Arabia, which needs missile supplies for its Patriot launcher system, as the country is often the target of missile and drone attacks from Yemen's Houthi rebel group.
The Houthis frequently attack the kingdom in response to long-running bombardment by Riyadh and its Arab coalition.
According to the US official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, another option on the US agenda is to exclude the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from upcoming military exercises and regional conferences, including those dedicated to efforts by the US and its allies to create a joint air defense system in the region.
However, two US officials and other informed sources indicated that no decision had yet been made in Washington.
According to them, much will depend on the OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) summit in December, adding that if the meeting leads to an increase in oil production, Saudi Arabia could avoid US retaliation altogether.
According to an NBC report on Sunday (10/30/2022), several military leaders in the US are opposed to reducing defense cooperation with Riyadh.
They argue that leaving Saudi Arabia, which has been Washington's main ally in the Gulf for decades, without Patriot missiles and other American equipment, could endanger US troops and civilians in the country and destabilize the entire region.
According to a source in the US government, military commanders have shared those concerns with the Biden administration.
The US has been urging Saudi Arabia to increase oil production for months, saying lower oil prices would hurt Russia and make it harder for Moscow to finance its military operations in Ukraine.
However, the OPEC+ group, which includes Russia, angered Washington earlier this month by announcing their decision to cut oil output by two million barrels per day from November.
"There will be consequences," US President Joe Biden said while warning Saudi Arabia of the OPEC+ move.
When asked by CNN if it was time for Washington to reevaluate its relationship with Riyadh, Biden replied: "yes."
The Saudis have insisted that the oil production cut was a unanimous decision by OPEC+ members, made purely for economic reasons.

The US Gravity Nuclear Bomb Will Become a NATO Weapon, More Powerful tha...

US B61-12 Gravity Nuclear Bomb Will Become NATO Weapon, Stronger Than Hiroshima Bomb.
Saturday, October 29, 2022.

BRUSSELS - The B61-12 gravity nuclear bomb made in the United States (US) will become NATO's new weapon. One of the variants of this weapon has a more powerful explosive power than the atomic bomb dropped by the United States on Hiroshima, Japan, in 1945.
Washington is speeding up deliveries of the highly precision-guided tactical nuclear weapons to Europe amid heightened tensions between Moscow and the West.
U.S. officials told NATO allies during a closed-door meeting in Brussels that the B61-12 gravity bomb was scheduled to be ready for Spring 2023, but is now moving forward to December this year.
The new thermonuclear bomb is a "dial-a-yield" device and is one of the most versatile in the US arsenal as its explosive power can be increased or decreased depending on the target.
Defense specialist magazine, National Interest, called the bomb the most powerful nuclear bomb in the US arsenal.
"What makes the B61-12 bomb the most dangerous nuclear weapon in America's arsenal is its utility. This usefulness comes from a combination of accuracy and low yield," the defense magazine report, quoted by The Mirror, Saturday (29/10/2022). ).
"In terms of the former, the B61-12 is America's first nuclear-guided bomb."
The magazine, citing an expert, added: "Making a weapon twice as accurate has the same lethal effect as making a warhead eight times more powerful."
The B61-12 has four blast yields to choose from, namely 0.3, 1.5, 10 or 50 kilotons.
In comparison, the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945 produced an explosion of about 15 kilotons with the death toll of hundreds of thousands of people.
Gravity nuclear bombs will replace old weapons at storage facilities in Europe for potential use by US and allied bombers and fighter jets.
The weapon uses an inertial navigation system to achieve a high kill probability.
The US plan to add a gravity nuclear bomb to NATO's arsenal comes as countries in the West are concerned about Russia's threat to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine and amid growing concerns that the West needs to do more to prevent Moscow from crossing that line.
Asked for comment, Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Patrick Ryder said: "While we will not go into the details of our nuclear arsenal, the modernization of the US B61 nuclear weapon has been ongoing for years and plans to safely and responsibly swap older weapons for older versions of the weapons. The upgraded B61-12 is part of a long-planned and scheduled modernization effort.”
"This has absolutely nothing to do with current events in Ukraine," he said.
Politico, the US-based media outlet, reported Washington's move was aimed more at NATO countries than Russia—to reassure allies when they felt seriously threatened by Russia.
Currently, the US has 100 units of old B61 bombs stored at bases in European countries including Germany and Italy.
The new bombs will be able to be dropped from a variety of aircraft including the B-2 stealth bomber, and smaller fighters such as the F-15, Tornado, and F-35 stealth fighter.
On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed Britain, in particular former prime minister Liz Truss, for initiating nuclear provocations.
Putin claims to have never said anything proactively about Russia's possible use of nuclear weapons.
"The Kremlin only hinted in response to statements made by Western leaders," he said.
